on a brighter note, life have been rather hectic... more movies shopping (opps..so guilty..shoes, clothes, jacket.. blame the sales!! pre-christmas, post-christmas, soon will be new year sales then post new year then chinese new year.. on & on... haha..) eating (p.s. tried din tai fung yest. wasnt too fantastic despite all the hype...the xiao long bao is still best at duxton road) catching up with dramas (KEVIN I WANT GREY'S!!! hahaha) thanks jacq, for the 8th and 9th episodes...
finally met up with anisa, hazel nutnut, patrick yest.. haha. sam left us for larry.. lols.. :) frm 5pm to 11pm, all we did was ate at foodcourt, talktalk, ate again at korean cafe, talktalk and walked in carrefour and around suntec area (the fountain of wealth is really nice, with lights music and water display)..haha..n walking in carrefour was certainly more fun than shopping when we are broke..:P was supposed to catch the open air movie at CHIJMES but they were showing some dog movie, so lame...haha...

oh oh.. n i got a new maid today!:) yays..new year celebration will be another huge gathering!:) poor thing for her though...
christmas eve le!!:) cos it has just passed midnight.. :)
sat was massive shopping wth my mom.. after lunch with the family, my dad dropped my mom n i along orchard road and then the shopping spee started!!! haha.. i love shopping with her, cos i dont have to consider and be so indecisive..haha...time to buy wat i want! but mostly bought stuff for relatives and family... i got a few too :) haha... but i really wanted a jeans frm pull and bear but the line was so long we decided to come back after christmas... afterall, there will always be never ending sales... but this season of christmas sales is really not bad.. almost every store has up to 50% off.. haha..mango, guess, zara, gap, ck, etc etc...it seems sporeans are a generous lot as reported in the papers, who are willing to spend on gifts:) every shop was so crowded!! so many hours yet only haha. will i be lucky this year> hehe... santa, i was good this year:)
at night, my cousins came over with a whole fresh salmon fish so we had a nice yummy sashimi dinner:) thick slices of salmon fillet with rice and seaweed:) i just love jap food:) haha...
today went up with christle and huilin:) finally!! tht busy girl always working... haha...as usual i wa late, just a little.. :P after roaming and taking the escalator all the way to the top floor, we deicded to eat at cafe cartel, which is all the way on the ground floor... haha...lols.. had huge pork ribs n grilled chicken n a whole loaf of bread... these two person made me finish so much food..:) nvm, it is nice:) had mac's soft cone ice cream again and the person was so generous to give me such a TALL serving... almost twice of christle's..lol...
after tht, roamed ard and then randomly decided to watch "national treasure"...we were so indecisive, even in the queue we were still questioning if we wld watch it.. haha... but NO REGRETS!!:) it was a rather nice adventure show.. haha... exciting even if i have not watched the first show.. haha. i think huilin's ears must have been begging for mercy by the no. of questions i was asking her.. haha...it was like da vinci code, only much more exciting, perhaps becos i read the book for the former one... k box soon ya? :) we promise we wont snatch the mike frm u huilin... haha.. next show i wanted to watch was "i am legend", until i saw the clips... so scary.. haha.. day and night.. i wonder wat will i be doing if i am the last person on earth... so depressing... :( dont think i wanna watch tht movie le.. haha... byebye will smith.. lols.
tmr gg to watch "mr magorium's wonder emporium" with jocelyn at her hse thanks to dora:) dora cannot make it so sad...its ok, thanks to her we will be saving money at the movies. hopefully her dvd player works so we have other shows to watch:) n to visit safra since i have never been there, and i want to go square 2 too:) hopefully if there is time.. haha..

10 ++hrs flight each way is really long. plus the time difference. but SQ has s wider leg space i like:) but counting in the flight time & the time diff, the trip was really short, ended up with only abt 8 full days.
anyways, it's only the 2nd time i have gone on a tour gp, so it was rather exciting in a way. 30 plus pple in the gp in total.
my dad bought a new camera before we left.. his SLR, freaking big and bulky kind, yet he can carry everywhere...sighs. but the picture quality is of coz really good:) haha. i think we took the most photos on this trip.. wonder if it reaches a 700 at least for a 8 day trip...serious camera snapping everywhere! haha.

summry of the trip for my own record soon, when i have the time.. haha. i just bought a korean series " love truely" n it is distracting me..lols. i need time to recollect the trip too, due to my short term memory...
but basically, it was quite an adventure, somewhere rather exotic...
rushing here and there as expected for most tours. imagine waking up at 43oam for the safari tour and at 6am for several days..typical day having breakfast at 7am, lunch at 12 plus n dinner at 6 plus pm... BUFFET BUFFET BUFFET>> lots of food!!! eat eat eat... a few chinese meals which were not tht interesting, but at least we had local meals too, thai, seafood and exotic meats like ostrich, crocodile, warthog, springbok, plus usuals like lamb, beef etc...lots of curries too...& unlike usually, i had 8 days of huge breakfast meals cos the spread was so good:) ya, buffet too, so u tend to eat more.. haha. i think i am starting to like having big breakfasts, it really starts the day right, instead of waking up late and having brunch/lunch..:)
the best thing abt the trip.. the hotels:) i love all the accomodation, unique and comfortable hotels and lodges... we stayed in a total of 4 hotels and there was a mixed of lodges in the game reserve parks, modern casino grand hotels, resort-style hotels and rustic antique deco type hotel...
yup, i shall stop here and sleep..tired... continue tmr:)
besides, i was reading the papers on teh plane and was REALLY surprised to read tht Hady won the Asian Idol... i never follow such stuff but i assumed he had little chance of wining. i guess the underdog always has some advantage, esp when pple dont view u as a threat...haha.wat a sad viewpoint towards his win but at least, he won...
n i cant believe yvonne lim won the best actress too!! two entertainment surprises i read in the same section.. lol.. ok, gossip time over.. haha...
caught "the warlords" today:) wat a predictable ending though.. haha. typical war fighting backstabing brotherhood movie.. but it was still cool, marks the first time i caught a chinese period production at the movies...hehe.
n just for another record, i cant believe i waited for nearly an hour for just 2 plain ROTI PRATAS!!! so SLOW!i guess they forgot my order too...at amk hub, the cafe in the middle...-.-

joan n yirong at vivo..lunch at sushi tei, my first time there...we had a rather nice view of sentosa through the glass windows, but the scenery was spoilt by the IR development.. haha. sat there..took so long to decide wat to order, esp me:) lol.. haha. sat and talked... random talking, random eating (the tau suan at the foodcourt was really BAD though!!), random window shopping, random phototaking at the roof garden (SO HOT) and random walking into Espirit's changing room for more phototaking. LOL ...ahah...
and the funniest part was tht we were at the doubygout interchange and yirong was gg towards raffles city while joan n i were gg the opp. direction. we were waiting on the platform and i told yirong tht she was on the wrong side.. joan n i went onboard the train and a few min later yirong called and we realised we were actually gg the wrong direction.OPPS. to think i told her, "er...i think u are on the wrong side!!".. sighs...wat a random day!:) haha.
n why does it have to rain so often?? so depressing.. heavy rain again today... today more shopping:) sorry abt the last min change of plans chichao n pat:( tmr bugis shopping:) n my maid is gg back for two weeks. have to do housework le.. haha.my mom so cleverly arrange tht we go on holiday during tht time.lol. friday dora's birthday...wonder wat sld i get u?? suggestions? hehe:P sat my dad n sam coming home! sunday ailynn coming down! kelvin, pj n rach join in the spore tour!! :) hopefully kelvin get a car then we wont have to rely on MRT le.. haha. btw, HAPPY GRADUATION SAM:):) finally u end yr trinity journey.. wat a year!:) yes, n u are coming home soon! say hi to the hot chocolate and cakes for me before u leave! i miss those already:) haha...
