steamboat at kat's place cos mark wanted to keep his birthday simple")sighs..
kat n me:):)i wonder how many photos we took with her hp at kevin's place while waiting for mark's cake to bake... yesterday...27th july... 3 days after his birthday we are torturing ourselves making him THIS! we spent like 6 + hrs baking it LOLs... 3 pple bake one cake! haha...frm 530pm, bought ingredients, had dinner n then we finished baking past midnight...
but the night was fun:) esp when edwin's PS2 froze after he won the football match to the finals n hadn saved, n we were considering whether to put the cake in the freezer, edwin suddenly went " nobody mentions the word freeze"!! MUHAHA... boys n games;;;
yup... it looks a but like a slimy but cute little clown:)HAHA... orange yogurt (honey) chocolate cake:) hehe... i think as consolation for our immense effort, it wasn tht bad:)
we woke mark up at 9am on a sat morning i think he was pissed... but as kat says "he better kiss the ground we walk on" haha... joel, kevin, kat n i were cursing him in the morning just after we woke up cos we were so unwilling too.. hehe.. sad pple..go back to sleep:)
n i just realise it wld be soon before august dawn on us... SO FAST!!! just 3 plus months n i am freed again frm all the mugging again:)

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY KELVIN:)lols... isn he the luckiest boy:) got blindfolded, walked through lygon street (u sld see heads turning towards him simultaneously as we passed), being "caked" at lygon park! haha... not that the rest of us were spared!!! i had to hand washed my coat after i came back!lol.. but kelvin was the worst.. wipped cream n cake.. haha...
luckily he did enjoy himself.. saddist:)

one week of sem 2 just passed like that... wink wink!!!
anyways, this week was kinda slack...
wed was off n this coming wed i have no class too! how cool:) hehe... hope ICM never starts then every wed wld be my slack day, for me to head to the pool, doing other stuff n just to unwind...:)
yesterday, friday wAS rather hectic though.. had PBl for 2 hrs 9-11am, then had sponsorship meeting at barettos for one hr (btw, the fruit yogurt is nice:)), then at 12pm i had NDM lecture... at 1pm, we had IMSS meeting... then 2pm i had practical till 4 plus... went to find my sis at leeper library where i had to be her "slave", helping her copy this, read tht, cos she was busy with HOI...LOL...came home abt 5 plus...kat came over at 630pm, n three of us had dinner at universal, lygon:) too mmuch food! haha...chat chat chat...:) went to safeway for me to get ingredients for my rum truffles:) (used milk instead of rum :P) lols... tht took up like 1 hr cos i cldn find bread crumbs!! haha... in the end, i just bought fruit cake to get the crumbs... hehe...
came back to the apartment, kevin came over n then we discussed abt mark's birthday... i was doing the truffles n then kat was helping me crumb the cake! ahha... thx:) LOL>>> then after a while, we cldn stop laughing, cos u know, the truffles were made of chocolate n they were round...jack came over too n he asked what was i doing... kevin replied "chocolate balls!" (emphasising every word) n then, u hear bursts of laughter!!! SIGHS!!!
ya, so we continued abt mark's birthday n we were discussing abt "baos" and then dont know why we all started laughing n then kevin said okok, no more baos... "chinese steam bun"!!! LOL...HAHA... u sld see at tht instant, kat n i bowed down n burst out laughing...jack n sam just looked ard innocent n thinking wht was he doing ard this bunch of crazy pple LOL>>>HAHA...
sigh, i am chuckling at the tot of this again.. haha...damn funny la.. maybe we were just HIGH! ahha...
but anyways, kat, cheer up ya after wat happened yest... i am sure we will find a way for u to attend mark's birthday dinner:):):) at least we had fun yest. night:)
yup, n today went to melb central to get my harry potter book! it came out at 9.01am n i decided to be smart n not queue up... BUT when i got there at 2pm, there was still a queue! lol.. had to wait abt 25 min to get the two books... cheinying u better be grateful!! haha.. :) nearly decided to come back tmr...sighs... but still i got it n the first thing i did was turn to the last page n read! haha... so tempted to type it out, but i shall not spoil the story for others:) or "someone" might come all the way to the city to kill me..HEHE...
tmr is kelvin's birthday so let me give a shout-out first... HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY kelvin...no more lying to pple, esp ME! haha... yup:)

my last post before uni starts once more.. semester 2 begins...
just bought the sem notes n the HealthPractice book is ............so thick... !
hope it doesn get thicker by the semester...
yea, since my last post...
my dad went back a day after n so my money spending days are over for the time being...
my sis said "atm now out of order"... haha... i really liked having my whole family here during the first week of the holidays n now everyone who is supposed to be back in spore are in spore, n both of us are still in melb, dreading the start of sch...esp me, after 5 WEEKS of slacking...
yup, but there is always a time to get busy again... i kinda look forward to uni in certain sense, lunches with the med pple, field trips, the seats of the lecture hall... the whole grp of us always take the same seats, n the funny thing is that even if we come late, seldom wld there be pple on those seats... as if everyone knows we "booked" them..HAHA...

watched harry potter 5 on the day of the release..11 july... 430 show cos the rest was booked out...:) expected... it was the first time i saw screenings at practically every hour...but i tot the movie was kinda disappointing after u read the book...missed out n changed too many parts le... but oh wells, it is the hype... i am looking forward to 21 july, where the last instalment of the book comes out n then...
have yet to watch transformers...soon soon...
tried pancake parlour for the first time..mel, kelvin, jenna, sam n me...:) waiting time was rather long though...there is this chain outlet in gold coast called pancake paradise n they have pancake buffet for only $7.50... i think tht is so worth it even if u only have two! haha... but my dad n sis werent interested... nvm...:) saved on some calories.. LOLS.
have been able to dlw movies to watch too... just dwl notting hill, recommended by mel:) nice... julia roberts n hugh grant rox:) quite an old movie though..1999...haha... went over to steven n chienying's place yest night n we watched ocean twelve n click! both shows were not bad, but then both made viewers go one round for nothing.. for ocean, the whole thing was a set up la...n for click, after making me shed a few tears, it turned out to be a dream! wat the...hehe
went over to lay's place the other night cos jessica is back in melb...:) sydney seems to be a nice place to study too:) maybe i really sld go there next year in june:) layleng yesyes??? haha...
tonight's dinner with the med pple before 9am PBL starts! no more late nights, no more sleeping in, no more youtubing(i hope...HAHA), no more slacking... time for me to try harder to get at least a H3 for the next exam...
emm... looking forward for this sem to end n then in no time, i wld be back in spore!!!:) haha... there is always something to look forward to in the end...:):):)

day 1:
first day at gold coast!! touched down abt noon...
roamed ard the hotel, shopped, had lunch and then spent the evening taking random photos at the beach n getting wet!!! frm head to toe, as we sat there riding the waves...:)loved it...my dad was the first to get all wet! haha... i was the last to get wet before sam n him attacked me...i was helpless!
went to the casino at night n lost at jackpot... haha...sighs... haha... at least they consoled me by offering me free hot chocolate... LOLS....
i LOVE this picture... haha... the "green man" has a friend in tampines, spore.. haha... wonderwoman, flash, jacq, sam, the green man (??) n the thunder woman (??) haha...
superman roller coaster... i am so proud of myself... i took this twice!!!! cant believe it.... "dont worry folks...there is only only way out of this... that is SUPERMAN FAST!!" was wat the speaker said before i felt my whole world collapse... haha... SCREAM!!! frm 0 to 100 km/hr in 2 sec!!! adrenaline rush!!!

day 2:
our first theme park... movie world!!
funfunfun... but scary too.... i decided agst taking the the batman n the lethal weapon rides though.. haha... i wondered ard the looney tunes world while my dad n sis tested their guts in those two rides... one was a 60m drop n the other was a suspended roller coaster... maybe next time.. haha...but i didn take superman twice which supposedly is the BEST ride there...heehee...
they had shrek 4-D adventure... the three little pigs were so cute... :) n of coz donkey was making an ass of himself as usual... funny... nearly wanted to keep those 3D glasses... saw some pple using it as sunglasses!! HAHA

wavepool... the only pool which was HEATED!!!day 3:
white waterworld!!! yays.. most fun day cos i lovelove water parks....:):):) was deciding between wild wild wet n this park, but in the end decided to go to the newer park... but we later found out the other water park uses heated water in all rides so we sld have gone there!!! it was soso frezzing cold, cos the wind was blowing n we were just in tank tops n shorts!!! arh well...
but this park had fewer pple so we didn have to queue up much... :) i think we took the green room n the hydrocoaster rides abt 8-10 times each!! haha... just to get a nice shot of us on the ride..LOLS>... but the hydrocoaster was cool... the boat cld be propelled upwards by electromagnetic force...
reminded me of KL's sunway lagoon... haha... those water rides i took with kevin, mark, joel n eugene which kat watched us get wet!! i wanna go back this year!!!:)

day 4:
SEA WORLD!
decided not to go to dreamworld cos it is really FREAKING SCARY!!! only my sis dare to go, so she "kindly" HAHA decided not to go too... haha... my dad was actually supposed to follow her but then he decided he was too old for all of the scary rides... haha... LOLS... think his heart cannot take it...anyways, we went there once le abt 5 years ago n i cried cos my dad forced me to take the tower of terror!! the 5 fastest, tallest, most thrilling rides are there...haha... call me a scarycat...hehe...yup, seaworld seems a much better idea after the past two days of thrills at movieworld n whitewater world...
there was also the first cockscrew, triple loop rollercoaster in australia there too:) sigh, i took it twice and i hit my ear so hard it still is bleeding now...
seafood buffet for dinner... oysters, crabs, prawns... yummy, but i think i wont touch seafood anytime soon... still swimming within me.... haha....

harbourtown shopping!!! direct factory outlets all at one place...almost the whole day was spent shopping, seaching for swimwear too... but ended up buying other stuffs instead... finally got a belt frm fossil!! haha... wanted to get one in melb the other time so yays, finally got it here... went to pacific fair shopping centre for more shopping n tht was how we ended our day...
day 6:
in the morning went to the beach for a walk...played with water, letting the waves rush agst. my legs...then we took drive back to harbourtown to get my skirt cos after a whole night of pondering i decided to get it afterall... sigh... my fickled mindedness... yup, then we headed up north all the way to BRISBANE city... parking was really difficult but anyways, we spent the rest of the day there shopping, having tea, sightseeing etc.... came across a woman who was being fined $150 for dropping a cigarette n she was protesting rather loudly...quite a scene...anyways, the shops all closed at abt 430pm so we decided to drive back to gold coast for dinner at an indian rest.... curry curry curry...:)
7th day-last day in gold coast:drove down southwards to byron bay:) the most eastern point of australia...we actually crossed the border of queensland and new south wales, which reminded me of "a walk to remember" where she cld be at two places n one time..lols... yup, another day of travelling and sightseeing, stopping by towns, having fish n chips n kebab...we were practically on a fish n chips hunt...my sis had a craving... so 5 meals in this trip we had tht.. haha... back to melb on an 830pm flight...
one week of not-so-country life certainly makes me so happy to be back in the buzz and hustle of melb city...!!not that i didn enjoy the life away frm the city...but one week of no internet, walking in slippers, beach walking, chasing the thrill at themeparks was over that quickly... another few more days n it is back to uni...all of a sudden, i am anxious...how wld my next sem turn out to be? another half a year of studying doesn seem to tempt me at all...
n it is really freezing cold in melb, 5 degrees!!! yest night when i touch down, it was like WOAH... gold coast is only abt 20 degrees... save the earth... global warming...!!!! haha... paranoid me...
btw, sam uploaded many more pics... :) i too lazy...long long post for not blogging for a week...
