n i realised i have not blogged for abt a week le...
yup, so last wednesday was anaz day, public holiday...
so tue night, all of us decided to stay over at andrew's hse for movie marathon cos there is a cinema theatre at his building...
before that, we had dinner, greek..:) so fulling...jasper, kelvin, me, mel, ailynn, pj, rach...so much food but nice:) we saw joel passed by n it was my first time seeing him after he shaved off his hair for the "world's greatest shave" by the leukemia foundation... noble boy..lols..took me a moment to recognise him though... hair wld grow back right>
haha...
yes, we went to andrew's place after that which was at southbank, n his apartment is so cool..it is really huge for two pple...n it is the tallest building in aust. :) yea, so we watched abt movies, snack, played cards, watched tv throughout the night... it was tiring...haha...
at abt 4am, the cleaner wanted to clean the cinema room so we had to go up to andrew's place... the boys wanted to watch football, man u vs milan.. i fell asleep halfway... but was awoken when kelvin shouted when man u scored. haha... lols... boys!!
ya... then we realised andrew had playstation so we played for a while, fifa, racing etc...
abt 10am, we woke jasper n rach who were asleep n went to macdonalds breakfast.. how sinful!! hahha... no sleep, but lots of food throughout the night lols.. ;)

on the way back, we passed by the parade contingent to commemorate this day...their commander seemed lousy though..hehe..:P
i went back to sleep for abt half an hour before gg out for lunch with kevin n kat.. it is so nice it is a holiday:)
thurs was back at school...had anatomy practical class round 2... this time we got to inject the cadavers with the diff types of injections n got to disect n sew the diff layers of the skin up.. i think that was the most interesting cos there are many layers to the skin n it was challenging..:)
friday, i was high! it was the week end again..:) kevin , sam, mark n i played tennis abt 4pm till nearly 7pm... brian came frm the gym n was at the side shouting "kevin i love u"!! MUHAHA... so gay..hehe...joker...
went safeway n coles with kev... i think i am spending more than half my allowances on food la.. haha.. so fast... nvm.. safeway is my hideout...
sat played bball at carlton with jasper, chienying n sam...so long since i played but it was fun.. good way to start the day..:) henry took us for lunch at 1230pm, went to footscray for vietnamese food..yummy..haha... at night, went out for dinner with sam, jack n jack..how cool is that... sam was the odd one out, cos i was jac, the other two guys were both jack too:) haha.. then, we walked all the way to crown JUST to get gelati... then we sat by the river...it started raining so we waited before walking back... we stood at the entrance of crown so jack was holding the door for pple.. really like doorman sia... was funny... one hand hold door, one hand ask for tips...
today went to vic market with kat:) a long time since i went with her... abt a month maybe??
supposed to have tennis in the afternoon but cancelled cos of rain... so i stayed home n cook a nice lunch..haha... L) at abt 4pm, my sis wanted to play tennis so we went... yup, then just now, we went to safeway n laguna AGAIN... haha... bought lot so stuff AGAIN!!
yup, tmr the monday blues hits me AGAIN... signing off:)
LOLs... this is not good... 24 hrs... squeeze in nearly three weeks worth of lectures... didn sleep at all last night n this is the result i get? test was really sucky la... but it is prob a wake up call not to continue doing last min revision(for the past 18 years)... anatomy is so CRAZY!!! nvm.. good luck to me for the next test...:):)
n i feel so relieved after the test though.. but GUILTY too...
anyways, lecture after the test was cancelled due to a gas leak... the medical building n the surrounding buildings were all evacuated... haha... so pj, mel, kelvin, rach n me went to rice bar for a nice lunch.. obvious that we didn intend to go back for lecture sld the building be cleared safe...:) went to kelvin hse next... ailynn n jasper joined us... palyed bridge, youtube, talk... i slept for a while on the couch, kelvin slept in his room for abt 1/2 hr before mel n ailynn took the liberty to wake us up for our HP PBS tut...haha... one whole night of no sleep made me impossible to keep awake throughout the tut... i just kept nodding my head to watever she said... haha....
yes.. n i shall go to my dreamland now, hopefully where i get to meet all the "mc-pple" frm grey's... :)p nights pple:)
i saw my first cadaver today!! how cool is that.. after weeks of practical classes at the com lab, today was indeed interesting:) all those bodies on the silver tables, just covered in white cloths...they just filled the whole room... but the smell i was warned abt wasnt too bad.. maybe i was lucky to have a blocked nose...:) we get to disect the bodies next week:):) n i wonder where i wld poke the injection needle into... wrong vein/artery?? but u cant hurt a dead person, can u??haha.. n my mom said she was worried i wld be scared.. sigh...how come pple like to doubt jacq's capability.. HAHAHA...:P
yes... n i bought new shoes... so nice..:):):)
hehe... back to anatomy.. test coming up on monday... i just think the human body is too complicated for our own good...
emm.. i suddenly had the feeling nothing was real around me... so i took my swimming costume n jumped into the pool for half an hour...i thought much while doing the laps in the pool...i felt breatheless but refreshed... came back, took a shower, n though still smelling of chorline, i felt much better :)... maybe i just need more motivation to continue doing what i am doing right now...then i came across dora's blog too...:)my slacker friend, n cos she sat beside me, it somehow passed on to me too.. haha...yes, n her post inspired me! haha...never tot it wld come frm her but ya... :) hehe.. thanks dora.. i think i will try to have that outlook for the next 6 years...

yup, i have been blogging abt all the fun stuff i have been UP too... but never abt school... maybe if i look at those lectures n tutorials in a diff. light, maybe it wld seem much more interesting...
so here we go...
so yup, during PBL tuts., we do problem based learning abt clinical cases...with abt 11 pple, we discuss the problems, symptoms, hypothesis, learning issues, disgnosis, tests to be done n then conclude the hypotheses with the mechanism... the dignosis is the fun part...2 weeks for one case... the first case was abt G6PD, sec0nd was myasthenia gravis, n this week, spinal cord injury... as we aim to diagnose, we research n find out interesting things we have never heard before... like how spinal cord injury can cause priapism, which is painful persistent erection of the penis for more than 4 hrs... n we get to look at xrays n MRI...
HP tuts, we get to learn abt patient doctor relationship, which is interesting to me... not all facts, and mostly based on principles... we learn how to conduct consultations, medical interviews, what to do in real situations, e.g threat frm patients etc...
lab so far has been boring work, mostly in computer lab, but we wld be going to the dissection room this week to look at dead bodies! i wonder how i wld react but we get to see what others wont... so it's kind of cool.. :)
lectures are sessions to gain knowledge abt our body :) even if some of the lecturer sux, we wld only have to tolerate them for a week.. :)
n even if all these stuff are boring, i still have friends ard me who just brighten up my life n allows me to look forward to each morning lecture, even the 8am ones! :) 6 years is a long time, but the time we wld be spending together, wld only strengthen our friendships..:)
i still miss pple in spore though.. lately, i have been missing all the last 4 years in PHS, the food at hawker centres, n ofcoz my bro n parents though they come down so often...
enough of the emotional outburst...i am starting to watch HOUSE now... n HEROES!!! nice nice shows though not so good for my studies...but GREY'S ANATOMY still rox:) haha...signing off:) jac
PICNIC:!!! yays...at carlton gardens then yitming hse cos it started to drizzle... but i so full... krispy kreme, pancakes, chicken wings, sandwiches, cookies, apple juice, lemonade.. wat a spread!:0 then card game! heart attaak. loser drink full glass water + lots of laughing!!!sigh.. nearly threw up! :):) sigh, that yitming not in picture! frm left: wirawan, pj, sam, me, lay Melissa's birthday!! mel, jasper, me, pj, ailynn, kelvin, pheyyee n rach: korean dinner at oriental spoon! yummy... pictures with pj.. sigh... upload soon!! haha... yup, then we made so much noise till the rest. owner came to quieten us down... cos we played the "guessing no. game" then must eat full spoon rice with extra sauce!.. haha... good way to get rid of unwanted food! sighs... yea, then came to my place... went to tennis court and had chocolate fondue with apples, bananas, strawberries , n of course there was a nice cake!!! we were trying to light the candles, the wind was so strong!! sighs... but anyways, we played sparkles, n used a touch light as a source of light cos it was dark! ahah... we looked like illegal immigrants along the road side! but it was really cool i think... halfway though, the security guard chased us out cos it was kind of illegal to be there at night, plus the court is not yet finished yet.. there was no net etc...why is everybody keeping an eye on us tonight LOL.. haha... nvm.. went up to my place, talked, ate cake, finished the fondue, gave melissa her prez, played bridge with cards compliment frm rach! ahha...yes.. n they just went back... HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!
n also, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHRISTLE N CHERLYN!!:):) hope this shoutout reaches both of u:)

Easter Monday: went to west melbourne for a drive along the coast... then both my sis n i had a shopping spree at DFO, yays... i got FCUK skirt for half price, mom's birthday prez n other stuff... stayed till closing time at 6pm, before henry n my dad, who went somewhere during our four hours shopping trip, pick us... guys cant shop.. haha...then i went over to kevin's place for dinner!!

yup.. n we went horse riding at Pretty Sally Riding Ranch, near Wallen-Kilmore... :) henry, julie, my dad, sam n me... :) so good to know someone who can drive here, so thanks to henry, we had such a great time... makes me guilty to know i sld be studying though.. :) haha...with lay n gp, we went horse riding last year too...so this is my 2nd time galloping through the countryside.. so nice, though i was really hanging on so tight to the saddle, afraid i wld fall off as my horse cantered up the hill slopes... btw, my horse name was KIDDIE>>:) so cute n it has the nicest coat in the stable... three colours, white, brown n black... my sis got her white horse which she had been harping abt...:) "bai ma wang zi" she had hoped :P
the 2hr ride included a BBQ lunch, which was actually just sausuages n harshbrowns...yup, but we had a nice dinner at ying thai to end the day... n i met a nice friend.. julie:) she is actually henry's friend's sister, so i just got to know her..she taught me to make my own pancake mix n i tried this morning, it worked!! haha..:)
n yest, sat, we had dinner at christle's place, near boxhill... korean bbq, cos my dad bought like 4kg of beef ribs n the seasoning... kimchi, lettuce, beef, n henry's version of fried noodles...:) we were all so full:) n she has the play station eyetoy! so fun la.. this is the first time i lay my eyes on such a innovative game.. n mutiplayers cld play as well.. i want one too!! it is actually something like a motion detector, so the games involve u standing up, moving yr whole body n playing the games..so cool.. i love the ghost buster game, where u reach out to catch the ghosts coming at u, but have to avoid the things they throw at u too.. so u cld see me ducking grabbing out, doging left, right... super tiring la.. HAHA.. like exercise..LOL... yea.. n the night, ended with me making pancakes for desert n then we drove back to the city n had more desert at brunetti...:) how sinful!!! n easter eggs there were so beautifully wrapped:) i want!! nvm after easter, i will go to target...hehe...i want the 1kg egg!
emm... sun, got to try max breners' chocolate pizza with pj, kelvin, rach n mel.. :) went there two days ago with kat, mark, her grandfather, my dad too... but tat place is worth gg almost everyday.. haha... we had a nice dinner at a thai rest. but i forgot the name lol.. haha... after dinner, we went to safeway for some groceries.. actually i was the one who had to get groceries..:) so i pulled them along...after dinner then we went to MB for all things chocolate... do they have chocolate pizza in spore? actually i just bought the base n cadbury chco thinking of making my own..:)
ya, that is the fun part.. in the afternoon before the dinner was the not so fun part..as usual, i had sunday tennis competition, n i was kind of trashed 8-3..lol.. haha... have not played for 2 weeks n this is the first time i played singles.. damn scary la.. haha.. that australian girl look quite friendly but i still scared.. haha...but at least quite a no. of breakpoint, though most i lost.. haha...
yea.. n then.. yest was super lame... at abt 6pm, i walked all the way, 20 min to medical school to support mel cos she was running of publications officer in the IMSS (international medical students' society.. if i am not wrong :P) committee... in the end of the whole voting session, i ended up with the post of sponsorship officer...i was like "emmm...OK.... i accept".. i wonder why.. haha... thanks to nick la... n mel n the rest of the trinity pple there.. haha... but the point was that everyone in the room ended up with some kind of post.. LOL.. it was alreay abt 8pm when we finished n i was supposed to meet lay, janet, pj for dinner at 715pm... so sad right... so sorry guys.. made u all wait n for wat happened yest.. the atmosphere was kind of weird cos of.... ya...haha..get it?? :P
emm... n today, i skipped 8am lecture cos there is this old man lecturer who keeps on promoting his book... n his lecture sux.. cos if u dont have his book (he claimed it took 28 years to produce his anatomy book), u wld understand nothing... so moral of story.. go get the book....but must admit he is a brillant man, but he just doesn know how to lecture... :)ya, after that, followed mel, kelvin, his sis to pet store to find hamsters.. haha.. cant believe that boy wanna keep hamsters as pets.. sure die.. haha.. but guess wat, we asked n realise HAMSTERS ARE ILLEGAL IN AUST>!! haha... lol... i tot they were one of the best pet to keep, no noise, no trouble... just in cage, play with wheel, eat, drink n their life so peaceful.. haha...
tonight is the booze cruise organised by the medical school... it is kind of a 4hr cruise where u board the ship, n then party n drink... lol... uni social events all like that.. alcohol n partying always involved.. haha... consider tht happening?...but ya, wanted to go with the rest.. but the tickets all sold out... 260 tickets so fast all gone. haha..nvm... next year... ailynn got a free ticket...haha... :) i am so sorry i didn go with u... will's friend sold all his tickets to another person le... sadded... but enjoy yrself n take lots of pictures:)

yup.. n we went horse riding at Pretty Sally Riding Ranch, near Wallen-Kilmore... :) henry, julie, my dad, sam n me... :) so good to know someone who can drive here, so thanks to henry, we had such a great time... makes me guilty to know i sld be studying though.. :) haha...with lay n gp, we went horse riding last year too...so this is my 2nd time galloping through the countryside.. so nice, though i was really hanging on so tight to the saddle, afraid i wld fall off as my horse cantered up the hill slopes... btw, my horse name was KIDDIE>>:) so cute n it has the nicest coat in the stable... three colours, white, brown n black... my sis got her white horse which she had been harping abt...:) "bai ma wang zi" she had hoped :P
the 2hr ride included a BBQ lunch, which was actually just sausuages n harshbrowns...yup, but we had a nice dinner at ying thai to end the day... n i met a nice friend.. julie:) she is actually henry's friend's sister, so i just got to know her..she taught me to make my own pancake mix n i tried this morning, it worked!! haha..:)
n yest, sat, we had dinner at christle's place, near boxhill... korean bbq, cos my dad bought like 4kg of beef ribs n the seasoning... kimchi, lettuce, beef, n henry's version of fried noodles...:) we were all so full:) n she has the play station eyetoy! so fun la.. this is the first time i lay my eyes on such a innovative game.. n mutiplayers cld play as well.. i want one too!! it is actually something like a motion detector, so the games involve u standing up, moving yr whole body n playing the games..so cool.. i love the ghost buster game, where u reach out to catch the ghosts coming at u, but have to avoid the things they throw at u too.. so u cld see me ducking grabbing out, doging left, right... super tiring la.. HAHA.. like exercise..LOL... yea.. n the night, ended with me making pancakes for desert n then we drove back to the city n had more desert at brunetti...:) how sinful!!! n easter eggs there were so beautifully wrapped:) i want!! nvm after easter, i will go to target...hehe...i want the 1kg egg!
emm... sun, got to try max breners' chocolate pizza with pj, kelvin, rach n mel.. :) went there two days ago with kat, mark, her grandfather, my dad too... but tat place is worth gg almost everyday.. haha... we had a nice dinner at a thai rest. but i forgot the name lol.. haha... after dinner, we went to safeway for some groceries.. actually i was the one who had to get groceries..:) so i pulled them along...after dinner then we went to MB for all things chocolate... do they have chocolate pizza in spore? actually i just bought the base n cadbury chco thinking of making my own..:)
ya, that is the fun part.. in the afternoon before the dinner was the not so fun part..as usual, i had sunday tennis competition, n i was kind of trashed 8-3..lol.. haha... have not played for 2 weeks n this is the first time i played singles.. damn scary la.. haha.. that australian girl look quite friendly but i still scared.. haha...but at least quite a no. of breakpoint, though most i lost.. haha...
yea.. n then.. yest was super lame... at abt 6pm, i walked all the way, 20 min to medical school to support mel cos she was running of publications officer in the IMSS (international medical students' society.. if i am not wrong :P) committee... in the end of the whole voting session, i ended up with the post of sponsorship officer...i was like "emmm...OK.... i accept".. i wonder why.. haha... thanks to nick la... n mel n the rest of the trinity pple there.. haha... but the point was that everyone in the room ended up with some kind of post.. LOL.. it was alreay abt 8pm when we finished n i was supposed to meet lay, janet, pj for dinner at 715pm... so sad right... so sorry guys.. made u all wait n for wat happened yest.. the atmosphere was kind of weird cos of.... ya...haha..get it?? :P
emm... n today, i skipped 8am lecture cos there is this old man lecturer who keeps on promoting his book... n his lecture sux.. cos if u dont have his book (he claimed it took 28 years to produce his anatomy book), u wld understand nothing... so moral of story.. go get the book....but must admit he is a brillant man, but he just doesn know how to lecture... :)ya, after that, followed mel, kelvin, his sis to pet store to find hamsters.. haha.. cant believe that boy wanna keep hamsters as pets.. sure die.. haha.. but guess wat, we asked n realise HAMSTERS ARE ILLEGAL IN AUST>!! haha... lol... i tot they were one of the best pet to keep, no noise, no trouble... just in cage, play with wheel, eat, drink n their life so peaceful.. haha...
tonight is the booze cruise organised by the medical school... it is kind of a 4hr cruise where u board the ship, n then party n drink... lol... uni social events all like that.. alcohol n partying always involved.. haha... consider tht happening?...but ya, wanted to go with the rest.. but the tickets all sold out... 260 tickets so fast all gone. haha..nvm... next year... ailynn got a free ticket...haha... :) i am so sorry i didn go with u... will's friend sold all his tickets to another person le... sadded... but enjoy yrself n take lots of pictures:)
yup, easter break is HERE!!!! 10 days of holiday... but lots of lectures n essay to do..i want to go back spore to eat all the good food... but no.. i am stuck here.. nvm... happy easter everyone...::))

PICNIC:!!! yays...at carlton gardens then yitming hse cos it started to drizzle... but i so full... krispy kreme, pancakes, chicken wings, sandwiches, cookies, apple juice, lemonade.. wat a spread!:0 then card game! heart attaak. loser drink full glass water + lots of laughing!!!sigh.. nearly threw up! :):) sigh, that yitming not in picture! frm left: wirawan, pj, sam, me, lay
Melissa's birthday!! mel, jasper, me, pj, ailynn, kelvin, pheyyee n rach: korean dinner at oriental spoon! yummy... pictures with pj.. sigh... upload soon!! haha... yup, then we made so much noise till the rest. owner came to quieten us down... cos we played the "guessing no. game" then must eat full spoon rice with extra sauce!.. haha... good way to get rid of unwanted food! sighs... yea, then came to my place... went to tennis court and had chocolate fondue with apples, bananas, strawberries , n of course there was a nice cake!!! we were trying to light the candles, the wind was so strong!! sighs... but anyways, we played sparkles, n used a touch light as a source of light cos it was dark! ahah... we looked like illegal immigrants along the road side! but it was really cool i think... halfway though, the security guard chased us out cos it was kind of illegal to be there at night, plus the court is not yet finished yet.. there was no net etc...why is everybody keeping an eye on us tonight LOL.. haha... nvm.. went up to my place, talked, ate cake, finished the fondue, gave melissa her prez, played bridge with cards compliment frm rach! ahha...yes.. n they just went back... HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!

Easter Monday: went to west melbourne for a drive along the coast... then both my sis n i had a shopping spree at DFO, yays... i got FCUK skirt for half price, mom's birthday prez n other stuff... stayed till closing time at 6pm, before henry n my dad, who went somewhere during our four hours shopping trip, pick us... guys cant shop.. haha...then i went over to kevin's place for dinner!!
