emm... it is the first week of uni... :) finally i get to be busy... today is the third day and so far i have quite many lectures on biomedical science... had my first ICM tutorial today, was not bad.... had to force myself to speak up quite a bit but at least the tutor and pple there were nice=)but i hav the feeling i hav to repeat my first aid course again... cos mine seems to be the lower standard of the required one... the course cost AU$390 here... i paid only $90 in spore... really qiao zha la...haha...>.< & i accidentally wet all my books today.. sighs... yup...n i had two blood tests on monday 8am!! so early... one for TB skin test and the other is to check for chicken pox, mumps, rubella etc... n guess wat, there were too many pple so after we queued up for some time, they asked us to go for the next lecture then come back at 10am...anyways, yea, we came back n was able to go first..at least they gave us sweets after the jab lol..:P haha..not as painful as i tot though...there is a lump on my arm now...tmr i am going back n perhaps there are a few more jabs for me...wish me luck..hehe... n cos we have quite many self reading passages, i have started to spend my free periods at the library... i am gg to be a geek sia...haha... n i must as well own a photocopying machine at home cos i think i am gg to photocopy one whole textbook plus many others in the near future....so many textbooks to get n i have only gotten one till now... i heard frm my friend he spent nearly $3000 ON TEXTBOOKS...! but there is the less nerdy side too...watched music n lyrics with gezzel n ruixi yest. n the movie was GREAT!! loved it..haha.. one of the sweetest, funniest, corniest movie...the songs were great n both characters had good chemistry...esp. hugh grant...emm... i can start ranting abt him but i shall not.. haha... yup... i am now trying to play as often tennis as possible before the weather catches up and turns cold.. haha.. n pj is like my new coach;) yeah! signing off..

yup.. so the past few days have been orientation... seminars n forms n talks n carnivals....the carnivals there were free drinks, games etc... the funny thing was that pj, mark, kevin, bengkai n i all tried to throw two balls each into a pail to win a prize but 10 balls !! all cldn get in.. failure sia.. some pple even got it in the first throw.. haha.. ikea sponsored the prizes btw...free chair n table n clocks n PDAs etc.. haha... :) that were the fun bits...
yup... kat came down to the city yest. so kat, ai-lynn, mark n i ate at yoyogi... come down more often ya> hehe...
orientation lasts till the end of the week n there are still several social events for the medical school..there is one tonight at a pub..ahha.... dont ask me why... i think they just assume everyone is above 18... australians like to party n drink i guess...going to check out the tennis club tmr.. prob gg to join them...:)
yup... n the worst thing of all is i have so many immunisations to take.. !!!! n plus TB test, blood test... wa... all the needles come poking me on mONday...not looking forward to it..:( i am in the first group too!!! sad case...

arrived on the 13th and till now have not had my internet set up.. so have to rely on the library's internet... n though it is a little late... happy valentine's day to all... saw so many pple walking down the streets in melb with roses in their arms...my dad, sis n i were spending our evening in the dark cos they cut off the electricity for 2 hours..7-9pm...my dad lit three candles n me n my sis lay on bed listening to music from the laptop... the only thing that cld work at that moment.. haha.. :) romantic enough>? ahah.. had to wait till 9pm before we cld cook n have our dinner...wat a special valentine's day.. perhaps the management of the building purposely had the electricity cut at that time to create the mood for love sia... haha...:P
anyways, must say the deco for my apartment is really not bad... my absence had not created a disaster which i had expected..lols.. hehe..jkjk... the bed is the best part... i love it...:) will put up pictures soon:) can see my sis blog first...n cant believe that i can walk like three min to the city... so convenient...

yup.. today is chinese new year...happy CNY to all:) went to chinatown in the morning to experience the CNY ambience.. haha... there were lion dances n dragons... the longest n biggest dragon in the southern hemisphere i think...but the weather has been so hot n so now i am enjoying the aircorn in the library typing this too... hope everyone one there can have a great celebration cos i have always loved chinese new year... this year is sad case cos i cant visit anyone...thanks dora for the dedication lol..HAHA....i am sure everyone back home is busy visiting relatives n all... i want oranges, hongbaos, CNy goodies n all the noise...!! sighs...

wednesday dinner with pj, justin, lay:) at NYDC.. esplanade. first show for me... titled: "two of us" view from esplanade live band at esplanade wednesday was movie with lay.. happy birthday.. :) was a rather unexpected ending so i like.. but really sweet la..dinner was with paul john & justin too.. yea.... both same course as me but justin has to complete 2 years army first... haha.. we were teasing me the whole evening... lol... lay wld have her face on spore water pipes// hehe..after dinner at NYDC we walked ard orchard till 10 plus cos lay was deciding a very DIFFICULT question.. hehe...but it was fun:) reached home was already close to midnight... so late, that i ran home.. scary...
thurs.. i found such nice beancurd with jocelyn n dora.. thx to these two, i had a delicious bowl of peanut tang yuan with beancurd.. bought a bowl back for my brother forgetting that i was supposed to meet janice after that for movie.. sighs.... so we watched miss porter with me trying to prevent the bowl from leaking... lols... nearly ate finish it in the cinema... but i resist... :P
yest was such a romantic night.... haha.. but with lay la.. haha...we went to watch a comedy drama entitled "two of us" by the hong kong fringe club... it was in cantonese but luckily have english subtitles... some parts i didn understand but it was meaningful n funny at times... :) better than i expected....we went to the roof terace n took picture... so many couples were like doing "stuff" behind the bushes n both of us were so paiseh la.. lols.. behind bushes are dangerous places..:P we went to have ice cream n sat overlooking the spore river... so nice the view at night... but there was a live band... :) just like in crown casino but esplanade has a much nicer view.. haha..it was such a nice night... pictures are with lay so i will post it next time.. :)
oh ya.. before that i met khaiwee... passed him sammy's prez...here is me saying sorry to him for making him want to cry.. ahah... dont miss her too much ya? ahah... nice lunch n toking to u... :P i will pass yr message n prez..
today finally met sam, jamie n anisa... went to chinatown for lunch... then shopped for jamie's chongsam... :) so MAMY PPLE!!!! spore is really getting too crowded... took a bus to bugis street n i nearly suffocated inside la... so humid and crowded... how to shop!!!! anisa n i decided to escape after some time n went to orchard... far east to get her top n my nail polish... yays.. though i cldn buy the jeans that l like cos it was too short.. sighs...sorry make u rush ya?? cos i was like late for tennis n end up i still cldn make it in time cos my bro had left the hse.... :( sorry yi rong for not making it to the club n anisa for rushing u... really sorry.. i really wanted to have a good game before i leave... tmr ya?
