janet's belated birthday pictures.... we went to a cafe with a garage setting... the ambience was nice.. the indonesian food was not bad but it was fun still... we bought a strawberry cheesecake and a jerry softtoy (reminds me of the bear 4D gave me before i left for melb...) for janet.. i want the jerry!!:) haha... poor jerry, i was torturing it the whole night... haha... we played pool (had a good game with yitming) after dinner and then yitming had to leave... so wirawan, janet, lay n i continue sitting there talking abt lots of things.. i think they nearly wanted to chase us out.. haha... one dinner stay for so many hours... talked abt the things we going to do back in spore, how time have flew by so fast this year.. next year everyone diff courses le.. hope we still keep in contact... n whether we will stay in australia after our uni graduation or go back... now i think i wld go back ,but i not sure if tat mentality wld ever change...

yup.... then we walked to starbucks and bought drinks before coming to nelson and continue chatting in the common room... haha... went to each other friendsters' and introduced friends back home to each other... talk abt guys while wirawan (who was abviously not interested)played with jerry lol... :0 n they think "he jun xiang" frm devil beside you isn cute... haha...i beg to differ.. muahaha... anyways, end of journal... back to bio book!!!

yup.. anyways, finally chemistry paper, maths, eap, lit papers all over.. maths was suxy, chem was tedious, eap and lit no comments... emm.. last paper is BIO!!! which is one day before graduation... sighs... just one more week to go and everything is over.. know that feeling of sadness yet relief u passed his year enjoyably?

yup... anyways, the day before yest was the first time i ever stayed up that late to study for an exam... i literally did not sleep at all... mugging and last min work doesn help.. sighs... it was an afternoon paper yet i was stil struggling to complete my revision... i was trying to hold my head up the whole exam... so long the paper.. sit there three hours butt pain..;)

but after paper was already abt 430pm, then deanne, lekhui, zhiyuan n i to play tennis so we went and played doubles... so funny la.. supposed to go shopping with lay... but since i have not exercise for such a long time, perhaps i just felt the need to pick up a racket again..haha.... it was a great game.. played till abt 7 plus then we found out we were locked out... so we tried to climb over the fence then we heard someone shouting at us... LOLS... so embarrassing... he told us we cant play tennis during the weekends cos the gate wld be closed... actually we didn book the court, just played, so we didn know that.. :) hehe... sheepishly, we just left after he open the gate for us.. ahha...

yup... so today, my dad woke me up this morning just to walk at carlton gardens lols... haha... i need sleep dad:) he was like... lets take a walk.. fine.. so we walked to the gardens then entered the museum for a while... then we took the tourist bus to vic market.. bought jocelyn and dora birthday prez... :) hope you guys like it... but can only give u when i am back in dec... sorry belated ya?? haha... i bought three cartoon art pieces too... so nice.. for me, i bought a giraffe, for dexter we bought a dingo(close enough to a dog la) and sam we bought a pig... LOLs.. hehee... one big animal farm in my family... think it will be nice to frame it up in our apartment next year:)

abt 2pm, met yana and joel for lunch.. bought from dondon then went QV to eat... :) talked and bought boost... so yummy...n i had my cream puffs... nicer than papa beard back in spore... janet introduced to me... thanks a lot ya janet.. :) then we went downstairs to big w to shop for yana's surprise treasure hunt for her brother when he comes next week... in the end, joel bought more things than her.. sighs... i only bought a sweet la... hehe... :) yup.. then we walked back....

we were supposed to have dinner with henry but then he busy... so my dad went to safeway and bought roast chicken...:) yup... n now i am rewatching "devil beside you"... hehe.. i am bored.. but i still have one more paper... study jac!!! haha...

here is a declaration!!! intelligence does not run in the genes.. sighs.. if only.. haha....

my brother received his PSLE results yest and guess wat, his score is 263/300... i was like really surprise though i knew he wld do well.. haha... it is like.. emm... let me see, 23 points higher than me la.. so SMART!!! :) never thought he wld be the one to smell the entrance of Raffles Institution.... hopefully he can enter cos his score is one point above the cut-off... hehe...

the end of the PHS trend in my family... n here is a thought!! wld it be better for dexter to go PHS too... get the top student there n $5o0 dollars every year!! hohoho... cheapskate me... hehe... :) must qiao zha the govt. if possible...lols...

congrat dexter.. smart boy... :) continue to work hard...

but still, i had a really bad maths paper yest. and probably i need some of dexter's brain's cells for chemistry tmr... i want to do medicine but it seems that dream was over yest. .. sighs...

FINALLY DRAMA IS OVER.. haha... wed thurs fri had no classes due to drama performances... it was like a theatre where audience can just come in to watch.. there was a total of 3 sessions a day, each session consisting of abt 11 groups and lasted for 2 1/2 hrs.. it was like a drama marathon.. my gp was on friday the first session :0

it was really scary la... performing in frnt of so many pple.. i dared not look at the audience and just looked everywhere except the audience...lol.. haha..

anyways, drama is settled.. now are the written papers... tmr is lit and i am trying hard to memorise my points now... perhaps a place where i can buy more brain cells wld be nice :)

n my sis just finish her o levels.. congrats... n here i am mugging.. haha...:)

n finally i get to stay in my dream apartment next year with my sis... no longer alone n such a nice apartment... cant wait!! :0 yays...

yest. was our last EAP class and also the day for our graduation photo where the whole Feb (main) intake went to take a group picture... the cameraman was like: "pls make sure u can see the camera, cos if u cant see the camera, the camera cant see u..." lols... tot that was so funny...haha.. ;P

anyways, we took lots of pictures but it takes so long to load them.. next time load more pictures... :) so sad... today's lit lecture was the last formal class for the year... :(

03/11/06, was one of the most glitterest and glamourous night of my life... haha.... :) but it all happened in a flash and now, looking at the hundreds of pictures we took, it all seemed so unbelievable that we have just one month left in trinity... throughtout these 11 months, the one social event that had been on the minds of most trinity students was the ball, and when the theme of "hollywood" was announced, everyone started discussing anxiously about dresses, dates and all the related topics... emm... i went back in sept with the purpose of finding my dress and fortunately after nearly 3 days of searching with so many choices, i ended up with one frm zara which my mom added some touch of her creativity on afterwards...
The ball started at 7pm and many pple who had full day classes like me skipped a few lessons, but i am proud to say i didnt... haha.... i took the risk but still Jack, my drama teacher was so nice to let us off early... then i went back to bathe and then went to Concept Blue, where Lay's sister's friend helped me and lay style our hair.. i am so glad to have received some professional help & didn want to trouble kat who had to do her hair and offered to do mine too... thanks lots to lay & kat :) i am so grateful..... haha... by the time my hair was done, it was almost 7 and i haven even changed into my dress which was at home.... arr... i was already freaking out... haha... so with my make-up and hair, i took the tram back home, which was so awkward for me cos i looked so dolled up for the first time, but in jeans and a shirt... i kept looking down, so self-conscious... sighs...
anyways, got out of the lift and kat was there looking so pretty... ahha... :) i quickly changed into my dress and did some last min stuff and made the boys waited downstairs for abt 15 min.. haha....first time i receive flowers...thx joel for everything:)... kat had two cos kevin was officially her date but mark was also her date... emm...i still wondering how that worked out but ya... ahha... LOL... yup, so we walked out of our apartment and i felt that same sense of insecurity... sighs...hate the feeling of pple staring... lol... and guess wat, as usual there was always something to surprise me la... i asked kevin the day before how we gg to grand hyatt hotel, then he said taxi... but when we were opp. astorial, there was this horse carriage waiting... actually joel accidentally slipped it out before that.. haha... but still, it took me a while for me to digest everything tht was going on...i felt like a tourist cos there was two horses in frnt carting 5 of us to the hotel... when we passed arrow on swanston and saw other friends, they were also on horse carriages... n i tot only pple like kevin, joel and mark are capable of thinking of such ideas... ahahah.... there seemed to be a horse race among us... but it was so cool i think... imagine because of the ball, the roads were packed with horse carriages galloping to the hotel, passing through the CITY....looked like some kind of fanciful parade... haha...
we reached the hotel close to 8 and took so many pictures outside, even before we cld enter the building... ahha... it was such an affair... :) but still, so many pple looked so different and the first thing i notice abt pple was their shoes... haha.... but some of the dresses were awesome... haha... really felt like hollywood... haha... yup, we got throught the entrance but when we went upstairs in the waiting area, we took even more pictures... it was the highlight of the night, taking pictures!! haha... the staff were soon chasing us into the ballroom... haha... but we were one of the last ones to enter... ;) and pat porter, my EAP teacher was there!! she told us she wldn be, she lied... ahha... but still, it was more a students night and only a few teachers went....so we toook more pictures...
each table had 10 pple but actually practicaly nobody stayed at the table... everyone was gg around taking pictues and seeking out friends.. but overall the dinner was satisfying, exceeding my expectations... the food was nice and the ambience was better... the songs played were catchy, like "stars are blind", "sexyback" and some other nice songs etc... those songs make ppple just wanna dance... even before dinner, so many pple were already at the dance floor... haha... i love looking at pple dancing.. :) cos i cant dance and it's so cool to see pple who are able to let themselves go and just relax and have fun... if the ball was back in spore, i think the dance floor wld be almost empty and the songs wld not be as nice... but it was so different yest.... throughout the night, the songs were upbeat and the dance floor was seldom empty... haha... there was a dance competition and looking at the moves the girls and guys had, i was already feel high...micheal won the dance competition for boys... & GUESS WAT, in the middle of a song, kat, lay and i decided to go to the dancefloor and after much hesitance, we were in the middle of the crowd and just "dancing", if u can call that dancing... lay and i were just twirling and twirling... haha.. but kat cld dance... :) i didn expect myself to be even there, but even if it was only a few min, i am glad i was at least in the middle of the excitment.... i drank three cups of tea (which the rest have a theory that tea makes me high) and pat was like " i didn't see u talk so much before" !!! haha...maybe tea does indeed work on me....
there were also lucky draws throughout the night and kat was so funny, praying that our table wld not win anything, saving us the trouble frm gg to the frnt... lol.... n we did not... grin* anyway, rest of the night, more pictures and dancing... and i found out something...if u wanna find yr friends at a ball, just go to the toilets... haha...all the girls were busily taking pictures in the mirror and yup, i agree the best pictures are taken in the washroom... :) is a good interaction place...
almost everyone left by 1230am cos most of them proceeded to the after-party at hush-bar or platform 1... haha... i think our group was the last one to leave cos we didn intend to go after-party... instead, we walked all the way to Crown, linking arms in a straight line... joel, me, kevin, kat & mark forming a straight line, while engene, allynna & jon walked in frnt... it was a good way to escape frm the cold too ...ahaha... u see, i wasn smart enough to think of a scarf...lol..after much effort, we reached crown and went to Greco to have cakes... it was already 2am by then... imagine that... !! deserts at 2am!! but who cares... we ordered a total of 5 cakes and some drinks.... the cakes were huge and sad to sae, we had left over... CHEESECAKE rox..haha...i love aust. cakes, they were so rich and huge.... :) yummy... after our sugar rush, we took a maxi cab back cos our feets were sore.... 8 pple in one cab... cool huh>and we made three separate stops... engene n jon went to hush for more partying, while, ally. went home, and kat, joel, mark, kevin n me went back to nelson's and everyone crashed in the common room... the boys brought like bags over, as if moving in la...:) round the world holiday...mark was zoned out by the time he hit the crouch... yup... so after some slacking in the common room, at abt 530am, we went to the roof top to watch the sunrise... it was the access roof actually, where the air-con maintanence are, so we had to slot a calculator in btw the door to make sure it doesn close on us, or we wld be trap... haha.... the sun took so long to rise but we did see 5 hot-air balloons in the sky... so nice la... these huge balloons, called "sunrise balloons", where pple go up to see the sun-rise frm there....
after we gave up on the sun, we went to my room and had toast, ice-cream in a tub, and milo for breakfast!!! :) i think i broke so many of my rules today!!! we were scopping vallina icecream onto our bread and eating it with warm chocolately australian (we have a theory it tastes better than malysian milo) milo at 630am!!...haha... anyway, my story sld end here cos we were all so tired by then, it was impossible to keep awake...
i am sure i am a model student cos at 12pm i still went for chem support class :) !! didn sleep the whole night and still can attend exxtra lessons... sighs... this is really sad... :) after class went to vic market with jessica, lay n janet... had macs for lunch and i was drinking lots of coke to keep me awake.... so here i am, typing this long post, hoping someone wld be interested to read my extraordinary day.... :) i need sleep badly :O

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY PIGGY CHIA :) here is a tribute for you for always being there :)

Remember the times we had during gate duty when we had endless stories to tell, all the gossips and all the suaning from me to you...lol.. haha... i really missed those times... you, vincent, chi chao, junaidy, phebe, yi yuan, melvin & me... those were really the memorable times in PHS for me... hope i didn leave anyone out... :) those times when we purposely didn want to go back to classes and used gate duty as an excuse.. how we skipped the aerobic workout and stayed in the canteen to drink grass jelly... haha... grin* i'm sure u didn realise yourself as a bad influence huh? hahha...& how we used to hold papers or books during exam-period and did some last min study during gate-duty while the rest of the school was in the parade sq. listening to devotion...catching those late-comers and watching them run, while on those rare-occasions when we were late ourselves ;) gate duty ROX and i miss everyone when we used to be together :)

you were my motivation to chinese.. the pro!! haha...dora and I were in the same boat, speaking chinese like a foreigner and disliking the subject, while u and sok ying, sitting on the table beside us, excelled at it, giving us lots of pressure... LOL... i loved sitting beside you... my punching bag and a source of lameness... i could tell you anything on my mind and u wld give proper advice that of course i didn expect from someone as immature as u... hehe... jkjk.... i love to see u trying to bully and suan others like weiliang, dora, christle, sok ying, zi wei, cherlyn etc...while u get bullied in end and i wld be there laughing my ass off.. haha...i was mean huh? ahha... am i evoking your bad memories?? ahha... i am yr no. 1 supporter.. haha...

and yes!! all the korean crushes we had and all the korean dramas we watched and then recommended each other... muahaha.... the first korean drama i ever watched was "stairway to heaven" and i remember you were so crazy over kwon sang woo & i wld be there debating with u that he was mine.. haha... n dora wld be at the side shaking her head...really lame when i think back, but then these are the little childish things we did that made life in school so much fun... ;)

and then, i dont know how, but i became yr wife and u became my husband.. sighs... i feel my intelligence dropping when i type all the lame things we did.... though u were always fooling around even after my constant warnings, i still didn divorce you.. lol.. haha... how many anniversaries le ar?? haha...

i loved yr bubbly and good-natured of yours and seldom do i see a sad piggy... hope u remain happy-go-lucky always and never let obstacles hinder your path to yr hopes and dreams.... i will always remember the times we had in councillor, all the complaints we had due to their disorganisation, and the times in 3D and 4D, when everything seem so chaotic just because you were always beside me causing trouble... haha...

yup then... here is the end of my tribute to the no. 1 piggy!! happy birthday and make sure i see u when i go back in december.... u always so busy one... sighs... still dare to say i was the "da mang ren"...stay happy always and though i have not seen u for a while and not been in yr life as much, hope our friendship always last... haha... take cares & miss yea... ;)

today took quite many pictures at EAP class!! yay... til now, i still love eap class the best... my close friends are mostly from the same EAP class n pat is the best teacher ever... :) everyone is really nice.... there is by sitting position: lynnsey, abraham, chris, jason, joel, kat, me, ruth, nicky, sanny, ai-lynn, kevin n mark... :) sighs... just abt one week left till the end of classes and the start of drama exams... n then, written exams and before i know it, it will be the end of my journey... sighs... time passes real fast...

Prom on friday and i really hope everything goes well... there will be DJ, dancing, lucky draws frm wat i heard.. but no alcohol.. haha...but the theory is to go to the ball and behave, and then proceed to after-party to drink till u drop... haha... my parents were so understanding and have given me all the freedom on prom night... really unexpected cos they are against partying... but then, i sld keep away frm alcohol since not yet 18... haha... still, come to think abt it, i will feel so out of place cos i cant dance and i dont like the smoke that will engulf the whole area... emm... maybe it is a good thing that my whole table of 10 might not be going to the after-party... we shall have our own chill-out on the rooftop and drink hot chocolate...sounds cool... ;) both situations wld work out to be great.. i hope.. hehe... cant wait for the fun and all the pictures i wld be taking :) as kat puts it, it is our "last supper" before exam fever hits in...

"Will i die before i wake?" cool title? that's the title for our drama performance... i thought the title really protrayed what we are doing...two more weeks to go...go...go...go...
