wow it has been one month since my last post. it has indeed been a windwhirl come to think abt it. time just flew by ike crazy.

swot vac is over. exams are over. and tonight the third year post exam party is also over. pple leaving for all over the world and all over melb for AMS, probaby many whom i may never see again. it really reall quite sad. call me sentimental, but even those whom i hardly talk to, pple whom i just greet and walk on, still have a story in my time at uni these past 2 1/2 years. sighs... but friends come and go i just. people move on... ...

last day of uni before swot vac was camera whore!!! at uni, at sunderland theatre,at med building, at south lawn, with frends and pple we have been together with for the past 2 1/2 years. pictures on facebook saving me the trouble of putting them up here:)

mom and brother's trip to melb was a blast for them i guess. he got to complete a list of things we wanted to do, wat he wanted to eat and where he wanted to go. he is such a planner, everything must be thought out before hand and then be done within schedule. i guess tht isnt a really bad thing. just inflexible:) so wasted tht their trip coincide with our exam swot vacation which is meant for us to prepare for the exams. so we cldnt go out much. but the whole family being here, though a distraction, kept the morale high despite my really SLOW rate of completing my lectures.
on the last day of swot vac, my sis n i finally got to come out of our hiding shell of home and went to watch circus du soleil at docklands with dex too. overall good show but not as fantastic as phantom or lion king or maybe even wicked. perhaps i just love musicals more, instead of those circus acts, which because of this year's theme, made them employ those china pple to perform all the aerobics. it is like watching china's national day parade. even the lion dance was rather fake. there were of coz good parts but sadly the opening and finale both failed miserably in my opinion. not much impact.
dexter's birthday fell on the first day of our exams so too bad, cldnt go out for dinner but had steamboat at home. raincheck** haha.. it was good though, as long as the family sits down together, i guess:) loves**
exams went by QUICK!!! maybe cos i was really rushing to complete all the lectures, so last minute i felt so drained and lost in the world of microbiology. i didnt even have an idea on how i did for the papers. i was like do n done with. jsut pass and i will be happy:) but i must say thie semester is really the most interesting and structured of all the semesters. had fun and quite a good time learning these 14 weeks:)
yesterday was the last exam Health Practice paper. was so pissed by the MCA questions which were so unexpected but anwyays, it is OVER!!!! we took some pictures of the exhibition building cos we prob wont be having exams there anymore.. NO MORE EXAMS FOR 18 MONTHS!!! YAYS!!:) AMS wont be tht easy though i think. some of them went back to uni AGAIN for more pictures, but it was too cold, i decided to head home. haha.
met again for dinner and karoke at partyworld melb central for a night of singing and gg crazy. rach booked a rm frm 730pm to 3am. 8 hrs of non-stop singing, by 2am i was really seeing stars and my vocal cords begging for mercy. haha. the rm cost abt $300, and my dad commented we sld just buy our own KTV set with tht amt. but i guess we cld order $300 wortth of food and drinks which was incld. no alcohol tht night cos a few of us forgot to bring our ID. we were desperately trying hard to spend up the $300 credit. haha. but a platter of fruits was already $40 so it wasnt tht hard to feed the no. of us.
but i really need to brush up on my CHINESE!!! i cant read any of the lyrics and even if i know the song i cant sing it...:(((( so sadded.
cldnt sleep the whole night though i was back home ard 3 plus am. perhaps cos i washed my hair in tht wee hour of the morning too. haha. so i watched two movies before gg to bed at 7am. HAHA... my blueberry nights and the holiday, both with jude law in it. LOL... :) i am hopeless at romance...

slept in till 1pm..:)

yea, so i didnt have time to hunt for a nice dress for tonight's prom but luckily had one hidden in the cupboard so wore it. haha. qilun, our personal chauffeur drove us there. food was rather good except little uncooked, chocolate cake was SOSO rich i felt sick though. haha. the bread served was awesome though. my bakery dream** haha. was telling my sis i wanna own a bakery and a pharmacy in future. probaby side by side. if any case of food poisoning maybe can just pop into the pharmacy for medicine. haha. killing customers. LOL
anyways, after a few speeches and performances, incld a african dance by our colleagues (AWESOME-NESS), dance floor opened and ya, havoc started. esp when there was unlimited booze to get pple high. was trying to get myself high but as usual it was HARD>.< sparkling didnt work too. too bad no hard liquer were served tht night. but still, had fun:) i must REALLY GO LEARN SOME MOVES though. i am as stiff as a rock, i cant dance. pple say everyone can dance, but i really cant move. so sad. so self-conscious. sighs. LOL. maybe only my wedding day will i be high enough and let go all self inhibition.

anyways, pictures will be flodding facebook tmr i think. :) have to go shopping tmr and stock up on more dresses in case of such emergencies again. haha. one day after exam we have prom. so no time for dress shopping. :)

A shoutout:: HAVE a safe flight frida. and enjoy yr year in london:) sobs...
feel really excited for those gg overseas. ailynn gg to korea, reina gg scotland, ed gg italy, some sporeans back to spore. the world is indeed getting smaller. and i will really miss those pple:) friends are indeed the joy of life, of coz, besides family:)

another 3 weeks of hols will pass by fast so till then... for those coming back to melb....

zzzz... back spore in 5 days!!!! YAYS :)

i better get those random songs out of my head or i can never sleep. esp *poker face*!! i dont even like tht song. :P

i got my wish yesterday. had a great yumcha session at gold leaf harbourtown with kev, mark, kat, ailynn, david, wilson:)too bad lee missed his pudding lol. haha.

it just opened not too long ago and so we deicded to seek the new yumcha place out. :) it was a bit difficult finidng directions, esp with friends who doesnt trust yr sense of directions ** winkwink ** haha. still, it was memorable.nice atmosphere, spacious and clean. haha. but i guess the timsum is still better at westlake. except the baos and deserts which were really yum:)

ate a lot we did. sat till there 3 plus, luckily there werent many people esp we were talking abt david dancing to his fav. korean "gee gee gee" song. till now, i cannot get wht is so catchy abt tht song though. haha. all i heard were "G G...bu de na...G G...bu de na..."
LOL.

mark was so 'wld u say sweet?' (but tht word just doesnt suit him.. HAHA). he knew i didnt like the scary 'eye' on the cover of "The Host", so in order to get tht book which we bought for kat's birthday not knowing she had tht book already out of his hands, he used a gauze and surgical tape to cover the 'eye' before passing it to me to read. i think the dental hospital wld be taking stock inventory and realise there was a missing gauze and tape. HAHA. :P

anyways got back to the city and kat and i decided to bring back old times by roaming in supermarket and then went to myers and david jones for some shoe shopping. i LOVE this flats tht i saw and probably gg to buy it with ju's gift card. but still wondering if $100 for tht pair is worth it. sighs...

back to my apartment and it was 2 hrs finale of GREY'S ANATOMY:) thanks kevin... he is like the supplier for all series...lol. i just hate cliff hangers. but still, grey's anatomy rox.. l want a mcdreamy too ;) it was so sweet. wedding vows on post-sticks and honeymoon in the OR... how "romantic" haha...

talking abt hospitals: i really am very fickle minded. cant stand it. but tht is just me. sighs...

decided to put st. vincent's at my first choice, perhaps due to all the influence around me. i was so determined to put RMH, but it ended up as my 2nd choice. anyways, sld not bore my mind with this issue anymore.

i gave myself false hopes. :( tht's just too bad.

my last test of the semester BEFORE EXAMS is over...
exams in less than a month.
but i cant wait till it's over.

why do i always have to change the right to wrong answer. sighs...

anyways, at least i got to do some therapeutic wasting of time down supermarket aisles today. haha. i just love randomly walking in grocery stores; safeway, BigW, coles. cos even if i buy just ANYTHING i know there would be SOME use to it. unlike shopping sometimes i buy and later decide it was too ugly to be worn. HAHA.

arhh. random but i think a perfect life as a tai tai wld be:
morning yumcha, then grocery shopping, perhaps some baking in the afternoon, inviting friends for tea, reading gossip magazines(do taitai do tht or they gossip by mouth? :P) and then perhaps perparing dinner for loved ones when they return frm a tired day and at night YOUTUBE!! HAHAHA...

ok, a got a whole bag of raw chestnuts from jocelyn's backyard today cos she brought a whole huge bag to PBL. we each took some home to roast/steam. i decided tht steaming it was better cos it retained the moisture. BUT I JUST LOVE CHESTNUTS!!:)
but my poor fingers are bleeding cos i work my nails too hard in trying to break through all the shells. GREEDY me :)

my short trip to adelaide:) more pictures in facebook:) visited dawn and auntie gina came over frm spore as well. it was a blast. eat, play, sleep, tht's life! haha.

easter break is over. back to uni this week le.

had my last clinical visit to hampton today. will certainly miss it. got to see so many interesting patients... each one different and as challenging. some very very nice, others were harder to deal with.

to round up today: andrew n i saw an attention deficit disorder boy, two patients who were addicted to morphine cos they have been taking it for chronic back pain, a diabetic woman, several really elderly men (90, 89, 87 yrs) who were still surviving rather well (makes me feel so young!). the 90 yr old guy had several problems with angina and nightmares from the war (post traumatic stress disorder - reminded me of grey's anatomy). the 14 yr old boy did some self-injury by using the asthma ventolin puffer and injected into the skin as a dare. so it kinda left a huge blister like burnt mark on his hand. things kids do at school this days!! sighs..

anyways, i had to rush my PBL!!! haven done my research. have been too ADDICTED to the twilight series... OH, i wanna meet someone like Edward... :P loves** AHHA...

cant believe i am addicted to such books! LOL. must thank kat and mel for lending me those thick thick bks... :)

& i received a really nice surprise in the letterbox yesterday.. so sweet:)**thanks so much ju** :0

P.S need to find dresses for the two parties next week!! arr.... being a girl is so troublesome sometimes! haha...
